SaeKano is back again! In addition to the second visual of the upcoming TV anime SaeKano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭, the latest volumes of the light novel (vol. 12) and the manga adaptation Saenai Heroine no sodatekata: Koisuru Metronome (vol. 7) were released as well!
One spring day, high school student and otaku Aki Tomoya encounters a beautiful girl on a road covered in cherry blossoms. When he learns that the girl was in fact his classmate, Kato Megumi, he decides to make an otome game with Megumi as its heroine.
Together with his childhood friend Sawamura Spencer Eriri as the illustrator and one-year senior Kasumigaoka Utaha as scenario writer, they found the doujin circle Blessing Software, soon after joined by Tomoya’s cousin Shodo Michiru as music composer.
They have already completed one route, but will they be able to finish the game in two month’s time to sell it at the winter Comiket?
SaeKano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ♭ will have the same awesome staff and cast with minor modifications. Matsuoka Yoshitsugu (Aki Tomoya), Yasuno Kiyono (Kato Megumi), Onishi Saori (Sawamura Spencer Eriri), Kayano Ai (Kasumigaoka Utaha), Yahagi Sayuri (Hyodo Michiru), Akasaki Chinatsu (Hashima Izumi), and Kakihara Tetsuya (Hashima Iori) will be reprising their roles from the previous season along with screenplay writer Maruto Fumiaki and director Kamei Kanta. Kawakoshi Takahiro will be joining the series as assistant director.
This second season will likely bring just as many laughs as its predecessor, so stay on the lookout for follow-ups~
