The much-expected sequel to the D.Gray-man anime is almost here! A special advance screening event for the TV anime D.Gray-man Hallow will be held on June 25 (Sat.), in Shinjuku Wald 9, and Live Viewing Japan Inc. has decided to host a live-stream of the event in movie theaters all around Japan.
The series is based on the manga D.Gray-man by Katsura Hoshino, a popular dark fantasy with an astonishing 22.5 million volumes sold. It is being serialized in Jump SQ.Crown (published by Shueisha) with 24 volumes published as of present. In 2006, the series received an anime adaptation that ran on Tokyo TV for 103 episodes. After almost 10 years, a new series titled D.Gray-man Hallow will air in July 2016.
Before the broadcast of this new season, there will be a special advance screening event with super cool contents including the first episode of the anime, a talk show with the cast, and a live performance of the ending theme by Mashiro Ayano. But since you can’t fit all the fans into one room, the event will be shown live in 20 movie theaters Japan-wide so that fans from all over the country can get a taste themselves, enjoying the event real-time on a huge movie screen!

The Story of D.Gray-man Hallow
It is the end of a fictional 19th century. Called back from death by the weakness of those who mourn and bound to a magical body, Akuma become a weapon of murder, leaving more and more bodies in their wake, evolving through the terror and tragedy they breed. Making the Akuma is the Noah Family, led by the Millennium Earl, who is planning the world’s demise. The only people who have the power to fight and destroy Akuma are the Exorcists lead by The Black Order. And written by the hands of someone, there seems to be a hidden truth behind their long-going battle...
