Information has also been released for the main event on June 4 and 5 at Yoyogi Park.
■ About Eco Life Fair 2016
Sponsored by the Ministry of the Environment, Eco Life Fair is an event dedicated to raising environmental awareness alongside businesses, groups, NGOs, and NPOs. This year’s theme is “Love the Earth. Look forward to the future,” and through the fun booths, performances, and workshops, attendees can learn new ways to practice an eco-friendly life.

The main event aims to inform attendees about environmental issues from awareness to action, showing how individuals are affected in their everyday lives, and use the booths and stage to explain what individuals can do. Last year’s event was massive with 116,000 attendees!
■ About the Main Stage
There will be a variety of talk shows and concerts addressing the environment.

Dempagumi.inc Special Concert!!
Performing on the main stage is the 6-person idol group Dempagumi.inc! The group’s work extends beyond just music to include fashion, drama, and gravure too! Dempagumi.inc’s performance at Eco Life Fair 2016 will be their first acoustic show and is sure to be incredible!
＜What is Dempagumi.inc?＞
Dempagumi.inc is a 6-girl unit consisting of Mirin Furukawa, Risa Aizawa, Nemu Yumemi, Eimi Naruse, Moga Mogami, and Ayane Fujisaki. They’re members of Akihabara’s Dear Stage and do a wide variety of work. They are otaku interested in anime, manga, and games, so they often work in those areas. They’ve even developed collaborations with different creators including Tokyo Collection and Mikio Sakabe and have even participated in international fashion events in Taipei and Jakarta, and even performed at 2013’s Japan Expo as representatives of Japan. In 2014 they worked as ambassadors at Culture City of East Asia 2014 Yokohama.
The groups accolades include playing to an audience of 10,000 at the famed Nippon Budokan, topping the charts with their single “Ashita Chikyuu ga Konagona ni Natte mo,” playing a successful world tour, and winning the Japanese category for MTV’s Worldwide Act Award, just to name a few. On April 27, 2016, they released their long-awaited new album Gogo Dempa.

Local characters for three different Tohoku prefectures will be performing!
These include Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate. There will also be fun quiz events to participate in!
Dempagumi.inc’s Eimi Naruse will appear on stage!
The Fukushima Prefecture native Eimi Naruse will appear alongside local characters and brighten up the stage!
