Band-Maid® is an influential girls’ band active Japan’s metropolitan areas who dress up like maids and call concerts “waitressing,” and fans “Goshujin-sama” and “Ojou-sama”. The band has released a new music video for a song off their upcoming second mini album to be released on Nov. 4.
Contrary to their appearance, Band-Maid® is a true rock band with a hardcore sound who even mosh dive during their concerts.
Their first release in roughly a year and three months, New Beginning features nine songs including a remastered version of “Thrill”—a song off their first single, which is already out of print and has become difficult to get hold of, that helped determine the band’s sound—as well as two DVDs that include music videos for the album’s lead songs “Real Existence” and “Don’t Let Me Down.”
