The jacket artwork to Hana Otome, a CD featuring soundtrack music to Hanayamata that will be released on April 22, has been made available. The jacket was drawn just for the occasion by series creator So Hamayumiba and features main character Naru Sekiya as its focus with members of the Yosakoi Club including Hana N. Fountainstand, Yaya Sasame, Tami Nishimikado, and Machi Tokiwa in the background, as well as their adviser, Sari Tokiwa. Another highlight of the artwork is that each of them is shown playing their instruments. According to the information announced, this specially drawn illustration will be used for the first limited edition, which will include a “Team Hanayamata” photo collection and come in a tri-fold box.
Hana Otome features, in addition to the opening theme “Hana wa Odoreya Iroha ni Ho” and ending theme “Hanayuki,” 40 songs used as background music throughout the series. In addition to this, the first limited edition includes a collection of photos taken just for the occasion by the five members of the Yosakoi Club. Because this is a series in which music is a huge theme, this is likely to be an item that catches fans’ attention.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that an event with the cast and staff called “Hanayamata Talk Event ~ Issho ni Shaberimasenka?” will be held to celebrate the release of Hana Otome and the holding of the event “Hanairo Yosakoi Festival 2nd Group” on April 26. The talk event will be held on March 14 at Asagaya Loft A. Beginning with Reina Ueda, the voice of Naru Sekiya, on stage will be members of the anime staff and industry officials who love Hanayamata. It seems the theme of “Hanairo Yosakoi Festival 2nd Group” will be different from previous events, making it one we can’t take our eyes off of. Also, special drinks limited to the day of the event will be sold at the venue.
In other news, the Volume 6 Blu-ray and DVD featuring the final two episodes, 11 and 12, will be released on Feb. 27. Not only do these include an application for an advance ticket to the “Hanairo Yosakoi Festival 2nd Group” event, they also include event footage and the ending theme too.
