The broadcast of the TV anime Show By Rock!! will begin this April. This talked-about work is picking up attention for being a Sanrio character project. Now, the newest PV of the anime has been released. This time, the PV introduces the 4-person idol group, Cristicrista. Other previously announced abundantly unique bands to appear in the anime include Plasmagica, Shingan Crimsonz, Tsurezurenaru Ayatsuri Mugendan, and Trichronika, and now a middle school idol group is joining the lineup.
The members of the band are all girls chosen from the students enrolled in St. Midi Girls School’s special entertainment curriculum, and all are members of the school’s student council. After the band’s debut at the school festival, they receive overwhelming support from males for their captivating performance, and before long they become so popular that rumors begin to spread of a record deal with a major label. It also seems as if their strongest rivals will be Plasmagica.
It has been revealed that before the anime broadcast an advance screening of the first episode will be held. The screening will take place on March 28 at Sanrio Puroland. On the day of the event, there will also be a discussion between the series’ male cast and the staff behind the anime. It will be a chance for audiences to enjoy Show By Rock!! along with Puroland.
A screening will also take place the following day, March 29, at Shinjuku Piccadilly. Taking the stage at this screening will be members of the female cast including Eri Inagawa (Cyan), Manami Numakura (Retoree), Saori Hayami (A), and Rina Hidaka (Rosier), as well as the anime’s staff.
A concert celebrating the anime adaptation will be held on April 4 at Shimokitazawa Garden. Even this concert by artists who collaborated with the app will likely be popular. Tickets for each event are available now on Kyanime.jp. Sales will end on Feb. 15.
Advance screenings of the first episode and a concert have been confirmed along with a new idol group to appear in the anime. Excitement for the series is bound to rise from here on.
