
Since she appeared in 1975, My Melody has been one of Sanrio’s representative characters, on level with the likes of Hello Kitty. With 2015 being the 40th year since her creation, Sanrio has much in store to celebrate, including an Anniversary Fair to be held at Sanrio Puroland that began Jan. 9.
Various My Melody goods are released every year, but from Jan. 7, 2015, a new line of "New Life" kitchen and home goods went on sale. Little Star Twins, Kiki and Lala, also celebrating their 40th anniversary, will release a number of items that any Sanrio fan would be glad to call their own. Check out some of the items that will be available below!

A seasoning container featuring My Melody’s face on the lid (1,404 yen). From salt to sugar, what you use this container for is up to you.

A dish rack (3,240 yen) with My Melody’s visage on either side. If doing dishes just isn’t your thing, maybe this cute dish rack will give you the motivation you need to get them done?

This storage box (26 × 38 × 25.5 cm) can hold up to 12 rolls of toilet paper (3,024 yen). The top opens vertically for easy usage when stored on a shelf.

Magnetic umbrella stand (3,780 yen). It can attach to your entrance way or locker, so it’s sure to come in handy.

Of all the Kiki and Lala goods available, this set of star kitchen scissors (2,160 yen) is most likely to tickle the fancy of most female fans. The blades can also detached for easy cleaning.

This cotton box features an illustration of both Little Twin Stars (1,728 yen). The star designs on the roof are just part of what makes this item so adorable.
Many other kitchen and home goods will also go on sale. There's enough that you could deck out your entire home in Kiki, Lala, and My Melody if you wanted to.
