Hello, everyone!

I’m Dreamy MIDORI of the TOM Buyer Team. I love cute things. This week, I’ll introduce a recommendation that’s a collaboration between a traditional Japanese toy and something cute!

Do you know what kendama is? Kendama is a toy that has existed in Japan since ancient times and consists of a ball attached to a rope that’s attached to a stick. The point of the game is to get the ball either onto the point of the stick or onto the flat portions. Recently, it seems like many videos of people playing with a kendama in time to music are popping up on YouTube, and it also seems like the market for this toy is actually expanding worldwide.

The “Kaomojin Kendama” is a kendama with a kaomoji expression printed onto the ball! Isn’t it cute? It comes in white, black, or gold, but my recommendation is the white. Here’s me trying it out.

By practicing, you can even get the ball to land on the difficult spots! Here, just like this!

Though its face may get scratched from playing with it too much, that’s just part of the fun.
