The “Singing Keyboard: Pocket Miku” (a special supplement to Otona no Kagaku Magazine) will be released on April 3 by Gakken Education Publishing.

The “Singing Keyboard: Pocket Miku” is an entirely new music gadget for creating music using vocals. It comes loaded with the eVocaloid supported sound source “LSI NSX-1” and uses the vocal data for Crypton Future Media’s virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
Using it is easy; all you have to do is touch the stylus to the carbon keyboard. Using the standard settings, the keyboard will play the syllables of the solfège ("do-re-mi fa-so-la," etc.).
Furthermore, using the “Preset” mode of pre-installed lyrics, you can have her sing songs that everyone is familiar with. There is also a function for controlling the vibrato and octave, meaning she can sing an abundance of expressions.
The “Singing Keyboard: Pocket Miku” will cost ¥4,980 (excluding tax). Pre-orders are currently being taken on Amazon Japan.
