Up until now, there have been many people who have uploaded real-world versions of Mario Kart, but this stop motion version may be the most charming one yet. This video recreating the world of Mario Kart was created by Canadian filmmaker Simon Lachapelle.
Differing from those before him, Simon decided to challenge himself by creating this homage in stop motion. Mario and Luigi boogying through town on their butts instead of on a go-kart are cute, don’t you think? All the familiar items from the series including bananas, red shells, and even mushrooms appear in the video.
