K is an original TV anime that was broadcast on MBS and other networks. The original work was created by the seven-person creative team GoRA. The story takes place in a version of modern-day Japan with a slightly different history than its real-life counterpart and follows the fate of a young man who becomes involved with the Seven Kings. Even after the broadcast ended, its popularity remained hot, and on May 26 of this year, the official event “K - Who is the Next” was held at the Pacifico Yokohama Kokuritsu Dai Hall. It was at this event that, to the joy of the fans in attendance, this movie was officially announced.
