A TV anime adaptation of Reiji Kaitō’s light novel Unbreakable Machine-Doll is planned to broadcast this October. Now, the main cast and staff have been announced.
The cast includes voice stars who are both popular and highly skilled. Hiro Shimono will be voicing the protagonist Raishin Akabane, and Hitomi Harada will be performing the heroine Yaya. The two have already appeared together in the Baka and Test series. Additional stellar voice cast members include Megumi Takamoto as Charlotte Belew, Kana Asumi as Frey, Nobuhiko Okamoto as Loki, and Jōji Nakata as Sigmund.
Kinji Yoshimoto ( Queen's Blade ) is directing, Yūko Kakihara ( Jewelpet Sunshine ) is managing the script, and Atsuko Watanabe ( Ebiten: Kōritsu Ebisugawa Kōkō Tenmonbu ) is in charge of character design. Lerche ( Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc ) is producing the anime.
Throughout Japan, a special PV is currently streaming in bookstores. It is a character PV that spotlights heroines in the story and will be updated every month. Also, the narration of the PV varies by store. Participating stores including AniBro, Animate, Comic Toranoana, Tsutaya, Animega, Melonbooks, and Wonder Goo.
