Operations of all connected research facilities have ceased and her goal of stopping the “experiments” has been realized. With her solitary fight over, Mikoto finally returns to her normal routine. In front of her appears a young man with messy hair, Kamijo Toma. Even though it’s expected that they would get into a quarrel one way or another, Mikoto becomes angry when Toma doesn’t remember her. A huge clamor breaks out when Mikoto’s upperclassman Kuroko, who has missed Mikoto dearly, barges in––. A “Sister” then appears in front of Mikoto, who had begun to feel at ease and go back to the same everyday life she had before. Expecting that she had delivered the finishing blow on the “experiments,” Mikoto learns that they are continuing as normal. The frightening truth once again blocks the path of the astonished Mikoto––.
(from the official episode guide)
Mikoto puts a stop to the insane experiments that led to the slaughter of countless of her clones and returns to her normal, everyday life.
Toma, a young man whom Mikoto previously got into a fight with, then appears. However, he doesn’t remember Mikoto, to which she gets angry. While this is happening, Mikoto’s upperclassman Kuroko enters the fray and a commotion ensues. After briefly regaining a semblance of her normal life, Mikoto is utterly shocked when one of her clones appears and tells her that contrary to what she thought, the experiments have been proceeding as normal. Mikoto then comes face to face with the reality that her work isn’t finished.
In response to this sudden news, Mikoto is thrown into despair. It seems like the experiments are too large in scope for Mikoto to be able to stop on her own. Will she be able to bring an end to these insane experiments and save her clones? Will she once again be able to return to her peaceful everyday life? A fierce battle is brewing on the horizon. Stay tuned!
