The COSMO Youth Parade is a fresh approach for enjoying cosplay and supporting youth! This is the fifth year this annual Singapore street parade will be held. Since it began in 2009, parade participants have increased each year, making it a must-attend event for youth.
The COSMO Youth Parade isn’t just about having a great time with peers; it is also supported by the National Youth Council and Ministry of Community, Culture, and Youth. It aims at featuring creativity, showcasing activism, and providing a neutral public platform for youth. COSMO Youth Parade is also the only youth-initiated and led parade in Singapore.
Thousands of paraders from 15-35 years old walk the event as teams, clubs, or just friends, and hundreds of youth leaders and volunteers support them. Viewers and paraders can always look forward to cosplay from manga, anime, and games, as well as a supportive environment. It’s an exciting atmosphere that promotes youth to express themselves and pursue their talents and dreams.
This year, the COSMO Youth Parade will be held on June 29 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Paraders will begin at SCAPE Youth Mall. It’s recommended paraders arrive 30 minutes prior to the start of the parade to register. Also, be sure to check out the official site for more information!
