Hear Music from Popular Vocaloid Producers in the Game App “Groove Coaster Zero”

On May 16, a new music pack was released for Taito’s iOS music game app, Groove Coaster Zero. The new pack, titled “Nico Nico Music Pack 4,” features a collection of music by popular Vocaloid producer (Vocalo P) Hachi.

Groove Coaster Zero is a music game with simple controls that can be enjoyed simply by touching the screen. This new pack features four representative songs from Hachi: “Matryoshka,” which has been viewed on Nico Nico Douga more than 6.5 million times, “Musunde Hiraite Rasetsu to Mukuro,” “Mrs. Pumpkin’s Comical Dream,” and “Song of Wonderland and Sheep.” The game is free to play, but this pack costs 450 yen.

Also, the “Nico Nico Music Pack 3” was released on May 2. In a similar fashion, this pack features four representative songs from the Vocalo P Wowaka: “World’s End Dancehall,” “Unhappy Refrain,” “Rolling Girl,” and “My Talent.” Popular Vocalo P like Hachi and Wowaka aren’t just popular for their music; their PVs are also one popular component. In Groove Coaster Zero, the worlds of the songs witnessed in the PVs are skillfully presented like a stage production.

In the past, a music pack of Jin’s (Shizen no Teki P) music was also released, and even more Vocaloid music is planned to release consecutively for Groove Coaster Zero. In addition to Vocaloid music, the game features a varied musical lineup that includes music from J-pop, anime, games, and original songs. The entire lineup is filled with big hits.
