TV Anime “Danganronpa” to Broadcast This July!

The TV anime Danganronpa Kibo no Gakuen to Zetsubo no Kokosei: The Animation will begin broadcasting this July in Japan via TBS. The anime is an adaptation of the popular PSP game Danganronpa by the game company Spike Chunsoft.

Fans have supported the fresh gameplay and strange characters of the original work. Similarly, the anime adaptation may prove to become a big hit as well.

Directing the anime is Seiji Kishi who also directed the successful anime Persona 4: The Animation. The other staff of the anime have established good reputations, so expectations are high for its execution.

The cast is also a wonderful group of talent including Megumi Ogata, Makiko Ohmoto,
Youko Hikasa, Takahiro Sakurai, and Akira Ishida. The mascot of the series, Monokuma, will be voiced by the experienced voice actress who was the original voice of Doraemon: Nobuyo Oyama. Her performance is one you will want to check out!
