Music Video Releases for Livetune × Fukase × Fantasista Utamaro Collaboration, “Take Your Way”

The music video for the song “Take Your Way” by Livetune, a Vocaloid producer and musician who created the widely talked about Hatsune Miku song used in a commercial campaign for Google Chrome, and Fukase, a member of the Japanese rock band Sekai no Owari, was released on Livetune’s official YouTube channel on June 5.

The video is fully animated and featured illustrated versions of Livetune and Fukase, who sings the vocals on the song. The work is so polished that even the animation production staff were astonished by it. The video was directed by Fantasista Utamaro, who has worked on popular works one after another, including Livetune’s “Tell Your World” and “Transfer” and Yuzu’s “Land.” Utamaro was in charge of the roughly 30-person team behind the animation’s production. It has also been announced that a DVD containing this breathtaking video will be included in the first editions of the CD single.

This collaboration between Livetune, Fukase, and Fantasista Utamaro is an example of Japan’s special collaboration works between artists that are picking up huge amounts of attention, so check it out! “Take Your Way” is also now available on iTunes.
