“YuruYuri Petanko Plushies” themed after the TV anime YuriYuri have been announced. Plushies will be made of Akaza Akari, the main character of the anime, and Yoshikawa Chinatsu, a member of the Amusement Club.
YuruYuri began as a popular comedic manga about the everyday lives of a group of high school girls. The popular series also has an anime adaptation, two seasons of which have already been broadcast.
Pre-orders for the plushies began in April. Fans can pre-order them at Animate, Gamers, or other similar stores throughout Japan or online on Amazon, AmiAmi, or other popular online sites. However, Animate is giving away badges as limited presents. The cute items feature an illustration of the YuruYuri characters in the style of the Petanko plushies.
The big plushies are in a sitting position and are 22 cm tall. They will release at the end of June. A second round of plushies is also planned to release that includes Amusement Club members Funami Yui and Toshino Kyoko. YuruYuri fans will soon be able to collect plushies of all the members from the Amusement Club!
