On March 30, as part of Anime Contents Expo (ACE) 2013 at Makuhari Messe, voice stars gathered for the event “TV Anime ‘Valvrave the Liberator’ TV Broadcast Kick-Off Event.”
The voice stars participating in the stage event were Ryota Osaka, Ryohei Kimura, Asami Seto, Haruka Tomatsu, Yuki Ano, Ai Kayano, and Aoi Yuki. The stars talked about their casting auditions, the post-recording process, and how they felt nervous recording for the first time.
Also at the event, new voice stars for the anime were announced. The names Jun Fukuyama, Mamoru Miyano, Yoshimasa Hosoya, Yuki Kaji, and Daisuke Ono were projected on screen and the stars took the stage one by one, which incited quite the commotion from the crowd.
However, the real surprise was yet to come, and fans really heated up as T.M.Revolution himself Takanori Nishikawa along with voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki appeared on stage together. Nishikawa and Mizuki both collaborated on the opening theme to the anime, “Preserved Roses.”
For the finale, all 14 cast members appeared on stage together. It was a marvelous event the likes of which has never before been seen at ACE.
