March Comes In Like a Lion Season 2 To Air Oct. 14

Season two of the TV anime adaptation of Umino Chica’s shogi-themed manga March Comes in Like a Lion is set to begin broadcasting from Oct. 14. Spanning 22 episodes, the second season will once again follow the protagonist Kiriyama Rei as he deals with bullying and the problems of growing up.

Along with the announcement of broadcast dates, the show has also released a key visual which features the main characters in front of the Kawamoto sweet shop.

The voice actresses who play the three Kawamoto sisters, Kayano Ai, Hanzawa Kana, and Kuno Misaki, are also expected to appear at a special event at Sayamashi City Hall on Sept. 3.

March Comes in Like a Lion airs on NHK from Oct. 14.
