It was decided that the anime song (anison) event “Anison Stars: The Live!,” held on March 3, 2013 at Zepp Tokyo, will be broadcast on Children’s Day (May 5) on Fuji TV NEXT Live Premium (stereo/HD).
“Anison Stars: The Live!” broadcast by Fuji TV is an anime-only premium anison concert. Eight hundred people and 400 groups were carefully selected from anison fans by a lottery and invited to the concert. It was revealed that theme songs from currently ongoing anime such as Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Z Kai, One Piece, and Toriko, as well as theme songs from past legendary anime such as Mazinger Z and Galaxy Express 999 are on the list.
There are two people who seem to have captured the fans’ hearts most with their songs: Ichiro Mizuki, an influential figure of the anison world, and Hironobu Kageyama, who sang the theme song to Dragon Ball and has fans all over the world. In addition to the 24 songs, there are seven MC talks to top the excitement. This is a must-see concert for anison fans.
