“Ark IX” Volume 2 Gets Bonus Blu-ray Featuring Theme Song by Popular Singer Nano

Ark IX is the first new work in seven years by Kentaro Yasui, author of the popular light novel Ragnarok. On July 2, the second volume of Ark IX will be released. A special edition of the volume will also be released which comes with an included Blu-ray disc that features an animation for the theme song “Nevereverland” by Nano. “Nevereverland” is also included on Nano’s second album, N, which is now on sale.

Nano is a singer who began her career in 2010 on Nico Nico Douga and quickly gained popularity. In 2012, she had her major debut. Since then, she has been very active releasing singles, performing on radio shows, and more. Already, she has produced several theme songs to popular anime, including Phi Brain: Puzzle of God and Btooom!. However, other than the fact that she is from New York and is bilingual, not much is known about her. Nano’s voice can be heard on the first promotional video for Ark IX, so for those who are interested, make sure to take a listen.

Ark IX is set on humanity’s new birthplace, called the Ark, and follows detective Enishi Shido, who, from one small request, is hurled into a fierce battle against a huge organization. The Blu-ray anime that comes with the CD is produced by Hoods Entertainment (*Mysterious Girlfriend X*) and directed by Shin Itagaki (*Ben-To*).
