The production on the movie for Hanasaku Iroha has finished, and the movie will be released on March 30. Let’s take a look at the trailer.
Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home follows the story of Matsumae Ohana, a high school girl who grew up in Tokyo and is sent to live and work at her grandmother’s hot spring inn called Kissuiso. The story depicts the everyday life of Ohana and the colorful cast of people she works with.
One day, Ohana finds an old journal while cleaning. In it are the writings of her mother Satsuki from when she was Ohana’s age. The story that follows is one that crosses over generations and delves into both of their dreams and troubles.
This is a coming of age story that will have people cheering in the aisles.
Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home has already begun screening in the Ishikawa prefecture (the same setting as the movie) and will release nationwide in Japan on March 30.
