Asahikawa Winter Festival Returns Featuring an Unbelievable Transformer Snow Sculpture and More!

At the 54th Asahikawa Winter Festival, held Feb. 6-11, 2013, Top Tour was offering tours of the festival, which included experiencing the massive Transformer snow sculpture made for the event.

The “Super Life-sized Robot Transformer Optimus Prime x Asahikawa Winter Festival - 1 Night 2 Day” tour offered participants a way to enjoy all the festival had to offer including the Optimus Prime and Autobot snow sculptures. You could even climb to the top of Optimus Prime’s head for a great view. Since the sculpture was the worlds largest Optimus Prime snow sculpture, it was a great experience! Tour participants also had the chance to visit the Asahikawa Zoo on the first day of the event.

Furthermore, participants received a Jet Vehicon General as a gift (various colors were offered). The item is planned to release later this month. A diecast Toyota Matrix was also given to participants. Tickets for this year’s tour cost 69,000 yen, so definitely start saving up now for next year!
