TOM Takes Up the Challenge! “Berserk Golden Age Arc: Griffith Rescue Mission” AR Game [2/2]

After being baffled by the hints and having no idea where to look, we began walking around the event center. Miraculously, we stumbled upon a child from the game, who, as we approached, began to speak, saying, “In prison, ‘that thing’ doesn’t exist. There are six of us waiting in the event center.”

Okay, so now we were getting somewhere. Griffith is in prison and “that thing” that the child spoke of is rescue. Moreover, to help clear the game, there were six children scattered around the event center, all with different clues to share. We then set out to find all six children. We continued walking around the event center and receiving clues from the children. After that, we finally found Judeau’s location. As we approached, we spoke the answer to the quiz question and received this response: “Correct. I bestow upon you this card!” At last, we had obtained Judeau’s card!

With finding the children out of the way and one of the characters down, we began running around the event center in search of the rest. We were able to find Casca and Pippin and obtain their cards. We then all joyfully thought, “Yes! Next up is Guts!” However, at that moment, to our dismay, the signal was given ushering in the close of the game. The TOM team had run out of time and failed to save Griffith.

The participants all returned to the auditorium to be debriefed on the game, and the event was brought to a close. Even though we weren’t able to clear the game and save Griffith, we were able to relish the sense of urgency and excitement that the game was loaded with.

PK Theater, the group who put on the event, is already hard at work planning their next AR game, which will be for Psycho Pass. We may not have won this time, but next time we will surely be victorious!
