More Than 10,000 Hobby Goods in One Place - the 55th All Japan Model & Hobby Show to Take Place from Sept. 25–27

The 55th All Japan Model & Hobby Show will take place over three days from Sept. 25, 2015 in Tokyo Big Sight West Hall 2. This is the biggest hobby event in Japan and is sponsored by the Japan Plastic Model Industry Cooperative Association. Over 10,000 products will be exhibited at the event from brand new products to old familiars, and stage events are also planned for Friday the 26th and Saturday the 27th when the show will be open to the general public.

From plastic models and radio controlled toys to model railways and mini cars - all kinds of hobby related merchandise will be exhibited at the All Japan Model & Hobby Show. Together with hobby related tools, paints and books, there will be a total of over 10,000 items on show. This year 82 companies from Japan will be participating, a confirmation Japan’s internationally high standard of hobby goods, so look forward to the opportunity of seeing each of the company’s most-prized products lined up together in one place!

On the days on which the show is open to the general public, there will also be different kinds of events on offer. Model and plastic model kit maker Tamiya will be offering an opportunity to experience racing their brand new radio-controlled cars which kids and adults alike will be able to enjoy. Tomy-Tec will also be running an event where you’ll be able to experience driving trains on their Tomix model railroad, plus long-established company Kyosho will be providing a “Slot Car experience,” and Bandai will offer an opportunity to experience their new Yo-Kai Watch plastic models. There will also be a chance to find some important items in the “Junk City 2015” area.

New pieces and hotly anticipated projects from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, Girls und Panzer, Thunderbirds Are Go, and Macross among others will also be revealed on stage.
