We have more news on the Hatsune Miku 5th anniversary live event “Mikupa♪” that will be held on Feb. 9-10, 2013 in Sapporo. The event is the first Hatsune Miku performance in Sapporo in over a year. Since it’s the first live party in quite some time, many Miku fans in the area are surely waiting with great anticipation for this event.
“Mikupa♪” is a huge event that has taken place not only throughout Japan, but also in many other countries as well. The event was first held in March 2011 in Tokyo and it was a resounding success. Due to its success, it was held in various other locations after this including Sapporo in August and Singapore in November of the same year. In October 2012, an overseas tour was held in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Now, Hatsune Miku is known as an internationally-acclaimed pop diva.
“Mikupa♪” has toured all over the world and now it’s returning to Miku’s hometown of Sapporo. The crowd is sure to be even more amped up than usual for this momentous concert.
