Pokémon, Gotta Catch ‘em All!
Last month, Banpresto began its latest convenience store-centered popular ichiban lottery (known as Ichiban Kuji), “Ichiban Kuji the World of Cute Characters: Pokémon Best Wishes”. Tickets for the lottery are being sold for 500 yen a pop!
The newest Ichiban Kuji series is themed after the TV anime Pokémon: Best Wishes and the prizes are adorable chibi versions of the popular characters. The prizes span five different classes with 15 varieties in total as well as a Last One prize.
This time, an adorable super soft Deka Kyun Gumi (big plushie) of Pikachu is first on the prize list! A different version of Pikachu that features a smiling expression and pose will also be given out as part of a double chance campaign. This version of Pikachu was chosen through a user survey. From past popular Pokémon to current Pokémon from Best Wishes, a great group of Pokémon was selected to become Chibi Kyun Chara prizes for this Ichiban Kuji. The prizes include Lucario, Meowth, Snivy, Charizard, Eevee, Oshawott, Mew, and more. Even the classic Pokémon Charmander Squirtle, and Bulbasaur are included as prizes! Rightfully so, the legendary Mewtwo has it’s own stage and special set as part of its prize. Furthermore, there are also Kyun Chara prizes of the popular members from Team Rocket. This collection is bursting at the seams with high-quality, desirable prizes!
