First Two Volumes of “Watashi ga Motenai no wa Do Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!” Release

On Dec. 21, 2012, the first and second volumes of the popular manga series Watashi ga Motenai no wa Do Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui! (also known as WataMote for short) went on sale on the digital book distribution platform Book Walker, which is operated by Kadokawa Group.

WataMote is currently being serialized on Square Enix’s popular web comic distribution site Gan Gan Online, and an anime adaptation of the series is also in the works. The series depicts the fruitless efforts of a female high school student named Kuroki Tomoko as she desperately tries to become more popular.

Accompanying the release of volumes one and two on Book Walker was also a special campaign in which those who purchased the manga received an originally designed wallpaper for PCs and smartphones.
