Nico Nico Live Is Broadcasting All 26 Episodes of Evangelion for Free!

To gear up for the release of the new Evangelion movie to be released on November 17th, Nico Nico Live is planning a free screening of the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. From October 25th to December 20th, Nico Nico Live will screen three episodes from the anime every Thursday.

Neon Genesis Evangelion is the legendary anime that sparked the “Eva phenomenon”.
Even more than a decade after the anime finished broadcasting, it remains popular among fans, critics, and the media. From the EVA-01 running wild in episode one, to Asuka being introduced to the series in episode eight, to the encounter between Kaworu Nagisa and Shinji in episode twenty-four, the series is loaded with memorable moments. Nico Nico Live’s broadcast is the perfect opportunity to step into the world of Evangelion once more.

Along with the anime, Nico Nico Live plans to broadcast two movies from the Rebuild of Evengelion tetralogy - “Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone” and “Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance”. Early next year, Nico Nico Live will also rebroadcast all 26 episodes of the anime over a two day period.
