Stormtrooper Merchandise

Stormtroopers are the foot soldiers of the Galactic Empire in the Star Wars universe generally appearing in white armor with a fixed helmet and carrying identical blaster rifles. First introduced in Episode IV: A New Hope in 1977, the stormtroopers of the original trilogy served under Emperor Palpatine and his underlings Darth Vader and Grand Moff Tarkin, and are made up of recruits and conscripts alongside the clone forces which were created in the prequel movie Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

In Star Wars: The Force Awakens the stormtroopers have undergone a slight redesign and now serve the First Order with some of their forces made up of soldiers who were taken into service as infants or young children. These soldiers were given only service numbers rather than names and have been mentally conditioned to ensure true service to the First Order.
