Masamune-kun's Revenge is a Japanese manga series written by Hazuki Takeoka and illustrated by Tiv. An anime adaptation was produced by Silver Link.
The story follow Masamune Makabe nicknamed “Piggy” or “Pig Foot” by his unrequited love Aki Adagaki who cruelly rejected him after he confessed his feelings for her. She did earn the nickname “Cruel Princess” due to her cruel treatment of men and rich upbringing, after all. Fueled by revenge, Makabe begins his “Dead or Love” plan to transform himself into a buff, handsome guy that would be completely unrecognizable to Aki and then seduce her into falling for him so he can cruelly reject her. But life and emotions are never so simple, and the relationship between the two turns out to be far more complex.
Other equally troubled characters include Aki’s maid and follower Yoshino Koiwai who isn’t what she seems to be and has a haunting regret, the frail and often commando Neko Fujinomiya nicknamed “Pantie-less Woman,” the BL-lover Tae Futaba, dude looks like a lady Kojuro Shuri, and Kanetsugu Gaso who claims to be a chubby guy, but is he really…?
