LEGO
LEGO actually means “I play” in Latin, though in Italian it also means “I connect” which is kind of nice too. LEGO is actually a Danish company, though, and doesn’t seem to mean anything in Danish other than, presumably, an awesome and safe way for your kids to build and explore whilst making up hundreds of imaginary, pixel-like worlds!
Since its foundation in 1932, LEGO has expanded exponentially but is still committed to its brick-based construction system with all kinds of LEGO minifigs and accessories to add even more color to the world. The joy of LEGO is that you can create for yourself, but they do offer some themed sets too like pirate ships and Viking castles, and nowadays they even tie in with top franchises like Batman, Star Wars, and Lord of the Rings so you can create in your favorite universe too!
Just like they told you in The LEGO Movie, everything is awesome - and even if it’s not, you can make it so by building it better with LEGO!
