Fairy Tail is a popular shonen manga that was first released in 2006 and has since gained several spin-off manga, anime series, OVAs, and video games. The story takes place in a world where wizards are the norm, and where they join guilds with other wizards to train, hone their magical abilities, and perform jobs for money.

Teenager Lucy Heartfilia is one such wizard who is invited to join the rambunctious guild Fairy Tail by Natsu Dragneel, another wizard with mysterious dragon-like powers who is searching for someone dear to him. Accompanied by his mysterious animal companion Happy, and later on Gray Fullbuster and Erza Scarlet, the group sets out to complete guild missions, and the adventures they go on lead them into a world of danger, destruction, and drama.
