Evangelion Unit-01 Figures & Merchandise

Created in the Artificial Evolution Laboratory of the organization Gehirn in Hakone, Eva Unit-01 is the first non-prototype Evangelion, also referred to as Test Type. It is revealed when Misato Katsuragi drags Shinji to the NERV HQ at the request of his father, Gendo Ikari.

Purple, green, and orange with a distinctive horn on its forehead, it fought numerous Angels in battle including Sachiel, Matarael, Shamshel, Ramiel, Israfel, Leliel, Sahaquiel, Bardiel, and Zeruel. It is piloted by Shinji Ikari (the Third Child) with Rei Ayanami (the First Child) as its backup pilot both through Neon Genesis Evangelion and Rebuild of Evangelion.
