Eli Ayase is the last member to join the high school girl idol group μ's in the hit multimedia franchise, Love Live!. Eli is the third year student council president who is also committed to saving her school, Otonokizaka Academy, which is under threat due to a lack of applications from prospective pupils. Although originally against the plan to form a band, she finally gets together with her friends Honoka Kosaka, Kotori Minami, Umi Sonoda, Rin Hoshizora, Maki Nishikino, Nozomi Tojo, Hanayo Koizumi, and Nico Yazawa to form the idol group and even becomes their choreographer.

Eli has the habit of shouting the Russian word “хорошо,” meaning “good,” thanks to her Russian grandmother and is also fond of quilting and other crafts as well as being a member of the Idol Research Club. Her main colors are ice blue and cerulean and she is also the leader of the mini idol unit BiBi.
