Princess Shirahoshi, also known as Mermaid Princess, is from the popular anime series, One Piece. She is a giant smelt-whiting mermaid and the princess of the Ryugu Kingdom, as the youngest of King Neptune’s children in the Neptune royal family. Despite her size, Shirahoshi has a very fragile personality. She is easily frightened, and quickly breaks out into crying fits whenever she gets upset, such as the time when Megalo disappeared, when Luffy startled her during their first meeting, and when Luffy says that he does not like her.
