Own your very own Tachikoma from the futuristic cyberpunk world of Ghost in the Shell with this is fully movable smart toy. The first Ghost in the Shell product that realizes electric movability of each joint, pod, manipulator, and wheel, it features a speech recognition function that allows users to communicate with Tachikoma in natural language, reproduces the "synchronization" ability between all other Tachikoma(s) and has a walking/running function controlled via smartphone.

The 1/8 scale Tachikoma TACHIKOMA is based on 3D data used in the animation production, making it a painstakingly accurate model that looks like it just straight out of the world of Ghost in the Shell.

Closely supervised by the TV series’ staff
The creation of the Tachikoma smart toy was fully supervised by Kenji Kamiyama, the series director of Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C., while the recorded vocal lines where supervised by screenwriter Yoshiki Sakurai and sound director Kazuhiro Wakabayashi.

Over 600 new vocal recordings
The toy features over 600 authentic TACHIKOMA sounds and vocals along with new lines by the voice actress in the original TV series, Sakiko Tamagawa. Enjoy lines from the original anime along with new vocals you can’t hear anywhere else!

Utilizes a variety of speech recognition technologies
You can now talk with Tachikoma thanks to the newest speech recognition and natural language processing technologies! In addition to the newly recorded vocals and sounds, Tachikoma features voice synthesis using voice data from the original voice actress, Sakiko Tamagawa, so you can enjoy talking with Tachikoma like never before!

High range of movement
Tachikoma features a high range of movement thanks to mounted motors in each leg joint and wheel. The two eyes also feature motors that allow four-way movement (up, down, left, and right). Motors also power each hand and pod allowing them to move independently, meaning it can capture every dynamic movement from the original anime.

Emotional expressions and gestures
Tachikoma reacts to what is being spoken using its wide range of movement to express emotions and gestures.

Learning and growing with visual object recognition
Tachikoma can learn and grow thanks to its camera-based object recognition function and cloud object recognition engine, meaning it can recognize objects. Coupled with its speech recognition technology, it can even learn and memorize what you tell it about different objects! The more you teach it, the more it learns!

Fully reproduced synchronization
The Tachikoma’s synchronization ability has been faithfully recreated, meaning Tachikomas can interact with one another and share information through the cloud.

Running and walking
The Tachikoma walks just like it does in the original anime using its multi legs. It can also use its wheels to move forward, backward, and turn. By using the companion smartphone app, you can even freely control Tachikoma!

Get information from the cloud
Thanks to Tachikoma’s internet connection, it’s easy to get information from the internet like weather forecasts and schedules. Just ask Tachikoma and it’ll tell you!

Freely control Tachikoma using the smartphone app
Tachikoma can be fully operated via the companion smartphone app. The app captures real-time video from Tachikoma’s camera and allows you to move and control Tachikoma remotely.

Tachikoma's cyberbrain and cybercomm
As well as converse directly with Tachikoma, you can also talk with it through the smartphone app, giving users the feeling of communicating directly with it through cybercomms.
