Reaping success with its dark vision, another movie titled Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence, then a series titled Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (SAC) followed, then soon after S.A.C. 2nd GIG, with the latest additions to the series being Ghost in the Shell: Arise and Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie.
