The box is quite large, nicely designed an very sturdy (double layer cardboard). Even in the box, the figure makes quite an impression. I received my Kafū Chino (cheerleader version) at the same time and they're almost opposites; flimsy boring box, plain figure and an even plainer base.
The paintwork is nice and crisp, with pratically no bleeding (I'm being rather critical here). There is one thing that could stand to be improved though: while the green on the shoes and helmet is a nice, solid neon green, this is a different matter on the socks and especially the shirt and shorts. There it is almost a gradient going from solid green (when next to black) to yellow (next to skin). It looks al...
I just received her today! The packaging was larger than expected, but it's to accommodate for her hair and the bicycle wheel. I took a good look at her and she doesn't seem to have any major paint defects. Her facial expression and pose make for an exuberant and cute addition to my collection. She also adds a nice splash of color with her brightly colored hair. I personally wish her hair was more of an ombre but that wasn't exactly advertised in the photo. The hair pieces weren't too hard to push in, but I'd recommend you be careful because the thinner strands seem a bit delicate and breaking them would totally suck.
This is such a great pose of Miku in cycling gear, but there are a few problems. Mine has some stray white paint on the base that doesn't appear intentional and I don't see in other photos of this figure (on the left when facing Miku). The back side of her hair has some discoloration in one area that appears to be from color bleeding from another strand of hair, but fortunately it's not visible from the front. And, as another commenter noted, the hair is fragile and difficult to get all the way in completely. The base is still a bit visible if you look closely, but I think I have them in as far as possible, any more force risks breaking something. All that considered, it is still a nice addi...
Very cute figure, exactly as advertised HOWEVER!! One of the pegs for her pigtail didn't fit and I needed to take a Dremel to it, which resulted in a piece coming loose. I'll need to fix that soon but hopefully mine was a one off
In terms of looks is a very nice well made figure. I would like to give a warning concerning assembly. Her twin tails fit very very snuggly into the holes in her head. So much so that a red strand of hair snapped off while assembling it. Be careful. On the bright side it was a clean break and will only require a little glue to fix.
Absolutely amazing looking figure, the details and decals on the cycling outfit are spot on. Her smile looks so bright and cheerful, hair details look so good as well.
The only bad thing I can think of is struggling to attach her hairs, especially the right one for me, almost thought I would break it.
I am not a huge fan of the Racing Miku series but I really like cycling so this figure was perfect for me. I do wish it had the entire bike though and not just a tire. Her hair is very pretty too.
Her hair is so stunningly detailed. Very fragile so be careful when making her hold the wheel. It looks great displayed. The colors are so vibrant. All types of cycling/racing Miku figures are always so colorful and well done! She’s 1/7 so she’s a great size, not too big but not a tiny prize figure. Worth picking her up!
I love the 2016 Racing Miku design and this figure does not disappoint. The hair was a little tight to put in, but it was easy to hold onto and it didn't break. The pose has great flow and the hair and ribbons in the hair look great flowing behind her. The colors including the rainbow style in her hair look vibrant and the green highlights pop from the black of the Team UKYO uniform.
finally it's here, and it's more than amazing, I love it, the whole wait was worth it
i'm so exited about this because she and the thai racing 2016 are the last racing 2016 figures i need but really? a delay? i know its not tom's fault but i can't help be very dissapointed, i've been waiting for this for months
