The series of Madoka Magica maiko figures is all 'round wonderful and captures the girls in moods and poses that belong far outside of the show's existential darkness, while still feeling like reasonable snapshots of the cast as "themselves." Sayaka, brash and confident, gets to show off a more quiet—but still cheerfully bright-eyed—meekness here. It's an expression we never see on her face in the show proper, but it's good work on the sculptor's part to have dug that little bit deeper into who the her character actually was.

The Puella Magi Madoka Magica series never really captured me until I watched the Movie Series. Yes, I seen its golden writing, but the movies fixed the pacing and tightened it up. However no matter what, I could never deny my love for Sayaka Miki and Kyoko Sakura. So it's no wonder I bought the two Meiko Editions in a pair!

In the over 100 figures I own, one thing always bothers me from purchase to ownership, and that's the transition from vendor pictures to actual finished product. Unlike the others, Sayaka comes with additional sculpted hands to allow her to be paired with Kyoko. Due to this her box is larger than the rest and the optional posing options are always appreciated. Like the others the paint applications are perfect and the colors of her kimono and hair are really stunning. Overall I am very happy with this line of figures. The price is high, but the execution is flawless.

Sayaka is my favorite magical girl from the Madoka Series, and this figure is seriously gorgeous and perfect! Plus you can connect her with the matching Kyoko Maiko Figurine which is amazing! I definately ship them, so to have a figure like this, is bliss 💖💖

I had very high expectations for this statue. I have the other three, so I ordered her and Sakura to complete this spectacular collection. I just received her today and, what can I say... I'm completely blown away by the detail. Her paint job is spotless, she's adorable, and her cute little fingers are very nicely sculpted, lol... Everything is great. This is a wonderful figure! If you are on the fence, get it. You'll only be disappointed if you miss buying this at such a great price.

A couple notes of caution when assembling. What instructions there are in the box are written in Japanese, there are no translations to other languages. However the pictures are fairly self-explanatory.

When inserting the handle of the umbrella into her hand, the fit may be very tight. I found it was best to leave the base and arm attachment off and then insert the end of the handle into her grip very slowly and gently work it in. This figure of Sayaka is beautifully sculpted. Even though the figure is fully constructed, it is evident that there are a multitude of pieces that make up the different sections and layers of her outfit, with details that you might not even see without close inspection. The colors are vibrant and the graphics on the kimono and sash are very clear. Sayaka is depicted with a really sweet and pretty smiling face that makes you want to go over and say hello! The umbrella fit into her hand without any issues; it helped to twist the umbrella gently while getting it into place. Ordered this with Kyoko and they look absolutely amazing together. It also comes with a holding hand with Kyoko. The figure quality is flawless!! love the design on the clothes and paintjob is superior!!! I now have then complete madoka maiko version collection yay ^^!!!!!!!

This is a very nice and detailed figure. I recommend this to any Sayaka or Madoka fan. I am very happy that I purchased the figure and I cannot wait to display it especially for Spring time to display the figure.

The details in this figure are very intricate and well designed. The wide faced aesthetic the show is known for is scaled back in a very pleasing manner making it a welcome addition I'm proud to display on my shelf!

Fair warning though, you may feel a twinge of regret if you dont get the matching Kyoko as well! Sayaka comes with the additional hands that link the two together and it serves as a constant reminder of what could have been~
