Knights of Sidonia has become one of the most popular manga series of recent years and is now one of the most hotly anticipated anime series of the summer season! Written and illustrated by Tsutomu Nihei, the series is set in the far future where humanity was forced to flee Earth after it was destroyed by the Gauna. The human race now survives aboard several space ships, one of which is the Sidonia, and defends itself with giant mecha known as Guardians. This particular model is the Tsugumori, the Guardian of the series’ protagonist, Nagate Tanikaze. This great plastic model kit from Kotobukiya faithfully recreates all of Nihei’s excellent design elements including the head canon, rear booster, foot anchor, and the all-important Kabizashi spear! Collectors of mecha and robot kits will surely not want to miss out on this eagerly awaited fighting machine.
