Anime Expo was held this year in Los Angeles, U.S. from July 1–4. Over 300,000 fans descended on the Los Angeles Convention Center for the four-day event that’s the biggest anime event in the U.S., and at the event big news was announced.
The TV anime *Sword Art Online* is gaining massive popularity in Japan and overseas, and an exclusive shop will be coming to Shinjuku early this summer.
Eir Aoi and Luna Haruna are two artists in the anime music scene being showered in attention, and now they’ve shown a huge following on Hong Kong too. The two performed at C3 in Hong Kong 2015, held for three days from Feb. 6-8, and were warmly welcomed by the local fans.
On Nov. 14, funding opened on Cross Crowdfunding, a new shopping platform specialized around anime, games, and anime, for “Cross-CF limited” *Sword Art Online* Asuna & Kirita and Leafa metal iPhone cases created by the company Sorayume.
