Eir Aoi and Luna Haruna are two artists in the anime music scene being showered in attention, and now they’ve shown a huge following on Hong Kong too. The two performed at C3 in Hong Kong 2015, held for three days from Feb. 6-8, and were warmly welcomed by the local fans.

C3 in Hong Kong is Hong Kong’s largest Japanese pop culture event. The event has seen rapid growth since it began in 2010. Continuing from last year’s event, it was once again held at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center and attracted large crowds of fans.

Eir Aoi and Luna Haruna appeared on the Sword Art Online Stage, a series that’s even hugely popular in Hong Kong. Their concert stole the show and they performed countless hits.

Among the songs they performed were the first ever performances of the theme songs to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 game Sword Art Online: Lost Song. Luna Haruna sang “Yoru no Niji o Koete” and Eir Aoi sang “Sincere no Hikari.” Both songs will be released in Japan on March 26.

Luna Haruna’s performance began with “Kimi-iro Signal” and was followed up with “Ai wo Utae.” She also belted out “Startear” and “Overfly.” Her new song, “Yoru no Niji o Koete,” expresses the magnificent world of SAO. The performance developed into a lively affair that captivated the audience.

On the other hand, Eir Aoi’s performance included “Innocence,” “Ignite,” and her new song, “Sincere no Hikari.” The venue reached an electric climax due to her awe-inspiring vocal ability and power.

For the finale, Luna Haruna appeared back on stage and both her and Eir Aoi performed “Yume Sekai,” the ending theme to the TV anime Sword Art Online. This surprise performance capped off the thoroughly enjoyable night for Hong Kong fans.
