Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has released an "NSFW" trailer and confirmed that the series will be available to stream on Netflix from September 13!
A collaboration between CD PROJEKT RED, TRIGGER, and Netflix, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is inspired by action video game Cyberpunk 2077. Set in a vast city where technology and body modification are commonplace, it follows a Street Kid named Youhei who becomes a “Cyberpunk” outlaw.
TRIGGER co-founder Hiroyuki Imaishi ( Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare ) will direct with Masahiko Otsuka ( Gurren Lagann, FLCL ) as assistant director. Yoh Yoshinari ( Little Witch Academia, BNA: Brand New Animal ) and Yuto Kaneko ( Little Witch Academia ) will handle character design and Hiromi Wakabayashi ( Kill la Kill ) will serve as creative director, while Yoshiki Usa will provide series composition. Silent Hill’s Akira Yamaoka will compose the score.
