Produced by Studio Trigger, Kill la Kill is the smash hit original anime series centered around sentient clothing constructed with Life Fibers.

Kill la Kill follows the adventures of schoolgirl Ryuko Matoi as she continues to search for her father’s killer. The action takes place at the Honnouji Academy which is dominated by its Student Council President Satsuki Kiryuin and where the students all wear Goku Uniforms which are made from Life Fibers and give their wearers special powers. Ryuko eventually finds a sentient “Kamui” sailor suit-style uniform which she names Senketsu that allows her to face Kiryuin on a more equal footing. During her time at Honnouji, Ryuko moves in with fellow classmate Mako Mankanshoku and her family including her father Barazo, mother Sukuyo, younger brother Mataro, and dog Guts.

Other opposition to Kiryuin’s fashion empire includes the paramilitary organization Nudist Beach founded by Ryuko’s teacher Aikuro Mikisugi who are countered by Kiryuin’s Elite Four: Ira Gamagori, Uzu Sanageyama, Nonon Jakuzure, and Houka Inumuta.
