Natsu, Lucy, and Happy have returned with the first volume of sequel manga Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest!
The original Fairy Tail manga by Mashima Hiro concluded in Jul. 2017, but the reveal came fast that the story wasn’t over yet and it would be making a comeback with a spinoff.
Mashima himself has returned for storyboarding, but the artwork is illustrated by fellow manga artist Ueda Atsuo. It only recently began its serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in July 2018, but now fans can officially get their hands on the full first volume.

The story is set one year after Zeref and Acnologia are defeated. Natsu and the others now set off on the greatest guild mission of all time: the “century quest”, a mission which hasn’t been fulfilled in over 100 years. Fans can also look forward to a new character joining the guild.
