A new virtual reality project releasing in 2019 will have Hasekura Isuna's light novel series Spice and Wolf making the jump from 2D to 3D!
Titled Spice and Wolf VR, the "VR anime" will be produced by the studio SpicyTails, which was behind the 2018 game Project Lux. Hasekura is also part of the studio staff and will be writing an original script for the new project.

Details on the story and possible interactions are still sparse at the moment, but it has been announced that Fukuyama Jun and Koshimizu Ami will be reprising their anime roles as Kraft Lawrence and Holo respectively.
Spice & Wolf VR will be available in 2019 for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and OculusGo.
