Live Action Bleach Film Gives Fans Their First Look at Orihime and Chad!

A new trailer and poster visual have been released for the upcoming live　action film adaptation of Kubo Tite's Bleach!

Over a minute and a half in duration, the new trailer has given fans their first glimpse of Ichigo's fellow classmates and friends, Chad and Orihime! However, the focus is of course on lead actor Fukushi Souta (Kurosaki Ichigo) and the rest of the main cast, including Sugisaki Hana (Kuchiki Rukia), Miyavi (Kuchiki Byakuya), and Saotome Taichi (Abarai Renji).

First serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2001, Bleach finished its run with 74 total volumes and with over 90 million copies printed worldwide, as also went onto spawn numerous anime series, games and animated films.

The new adaptation is directed by Satou Shinsuke, who also headed the two live action Gantz movies and a Death Note movie.

Bleach will premiere in Japan on Jul. 20, 2018.
