Cherry blossoms appear all the time in Japanese media, and it sometimes feels like the spring anime season itself is dedicated to celebrating these flowers! So naturally, it's a good time to see which anime make fans think of the beautiful blossoms. There were quite a few ties, though, so in reality 12 anime made the cut for this top 10 list.

It’s a shame that beautiful series like Hyouka, Yozakura Quartet, and even Hakuoki weren't able to make it into the top 3, but that just shows how fierce the cherry blossom competition was. It’s time to see which anime made it out on top!
Coming in 3rd with 9% of the vote is the classic favorite Cardcaptor Sakura. It goes without saying what a natural choice this anime is. In addition to all of those beautiful cutes of cherry blossoms with the aptly named Sakura herself, this title also just made its way back into the limelight with Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card!
2. 5 Centimeters per Second
Coming in at 2nd with 9% of the vote is Shinkai Makoto's 5 Centimeters per Second. In addition to the gorgeous animation and moving plot, there was plenty of cherry blossom imagery so this spot was certainly well-earned.
Finally, Your Lie in April took the crown with a solid 14% of the vote! This seriously heartbreaking anime was all about how temporary and beautiful life is, making it absolutely perfect for a cherry blossom theme.
